Tadáskía celebrates shared liberation In Her U.S. Debut at the MoMA

Projects: Tadáskía” at MoMA has easily become of my new happy places, a precious destination that will live rent-free in my mind as a means of refuge and inspiration. Her first solo presentation in the U.S., Tadáskía’s sweeping installation features a freehand drawing scaling more than 26 feet high, floor sculptures, references of sankofa and Afro-Brazilian religions, and themes of transformation and shared liberation. “A mystical black bird can fly to hidden dimensions,” the 30-year-old Brazilian artist said in a recent New York Times interview.
